Job Description:
The Field Regional Support Manager role will be part of the Operations Team and will report to the Regional Field Manager. The position will require effective communications with the customer and a regional team of drivers to ensure the timeliness of freight and equipment movement all while maintaining the highest levels of safety within the region.
Collaborate with the Regional Field Manager to ensure effective communication to employees and customers within their region with regards to the core values of safety. Assist with the production of driver scheduled, time off coverage plans, driver training to all workforce within designated accounts. Act as the liaison to resolve driver and customer issues/concerns Track KPIs for driver and customer development Knowledge of DOT regulations. Successful on-boarding of new hires Assist with the preparation of driver billing and payroll reporting Maintain equipment records Review, audit and report on driver Hours of Service as it pertains to DOT compliance Directly involved with daily workflow including route assignments Manage communication with the customer and drivers Build an effective labor schedule to reflect freight volumes Partner with maintenance department to ensure repairs are completed on time Review staffing levels/needs for customer needs with Regional Field Manager
