THE POSITION

The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will hold a permanent & full-time position and will work for the Champlin, MN plant in collaboration with the other international teams (United-States, Canada, Spain & Mexico). 

THE DAY-TO-DAY

Carry out the packaging of loose ship items, shipments, boxing, banding, shrink wrapping equipment and crating.Maintaining accurate records of shipments, receipts, QC certificates, shipment photos, packing lists and inventory levels using electronic systems or paperwork as appropriate.Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing goods.Coordinating with other departments such as purchasing, production, and customer service to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods.Label creation for UPS/FedEx when needed and setup freight pickups.Directing and supervising the team of shipping and receiving clerks, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to handle their duties effectively.Implementing and enforcing proper shipping & receiving procedures.Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among shipping and receiving personnel.Identifying areas for improvement in shipping and receiving processes.Support other manufacturing and warehouse functions as required.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES DESIRED

Related 3-5 years of experience in this position is preferred;Forklift experience;Ability to read prints and use a tape measure to check dimensions of pipe spools or equipment received;Good knowledge of Excel, Word and general computer skills;Good memory and capable of multi-tasking;Organizational skills and attention to detail.

CONDITIONS

Overall remuneration including:
