As a Traffic Group Lead at B&N, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our growing Traffic Design, Traffic Analysis, and Safety Analysis practice not only in Ohio but nationwide.
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
Managing and overseeing our traffic and safety projects in Columbus, Ohio, and across the nation Having a pivotal role in contributing to B&N’s National Safety Practice, Serving as a go-to expert, providing technical guidance and support on traffic studies and design projects Leading project teams, developing innovative design approaches, and ensuring seamless project and task management Keeping a close eye on project finances, including invoicing, budget management, and financial reporting Driving business growth by developing and executing marketing and client relations strategies for the traffic section Nurturing the professional growth of staff through training, coaching, and mentorshipTo excel in this role, you'll need:
A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited civil engineering program. 10 + years of experience in traffic engineering, with previous work with ODOT and/or local agencies being advantageous Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Ohio or eligibility for registration through reciprocity Strong leadership skills with prior experience in staff management and project oversight Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam/Adobe Pro Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration toolsOUR BENEFITS
