GBA Program Assistant and Counselor

The Program Assistant is needed from June 1 July 30, to both prepare for the Academy Program and to act as a Camp Counselor during the program. The Counselor role is expected to provide GBA students with an immersive college experience, and will mentor students in academic, team, and leadership-building opportunities. GBA camp counselors will mentor, facilitate team building activities and other group academic and social activities, supervise field trips to companies and social activities, and play key roles in the business simulation game in week 2.

The salary range for this position is $24 $25 per hour. Position Minimum Qualifications Must be available during full 2-week residential program (July 11 24) Must be available for training and planning time July 11-12 from 9:00 am 4:00 pm and July 13-14 for airport pickup of possible early camp arrivals Valid drivers license and proof of insurance (for driving CSU vans for specific activities)  Preferred Qualifications Effective communication skills (speaking, writing, developing and presenting academic workshops, and/or presentations, use of computer applications) Demonstrated experience working with high school or college aged students/communities Aptitude to embrace reoccurring processes combined with the ability to improve overall strategies Posting Details Working Title GBA Program Assistant and Counselor Posting Number T Department College of Business (Dean's Office) Salary Range $24-$25 per hour Employee Benefits Colorado State University is not just a workplace; its a thriving community thats transforming lives and improving the human condition through world-class teaching, research, and service.
