Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Billing Manager to join our amazing culture. As a Billing Manager you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

The ideal candidate should be able to learn quickly and work well both with the team and independently. Will oversee the invoicing function with heavy focus on invoicing of all invoice types via various invoicing platforms. Billing will range from small and medium regional and community accounts to key National and Enterprise accounts with an understanding of portal invoicing into various third-party systems (Ariba, Tririga, Coupa, VAWS, Service Channel). Meeting customer invoicing SLAs for invoicing and engaging in dispute resolution, as well as the supporting of cash flow and past due improvement are essential. Interaction and exceptional communication with Billing Manager, Service Operations, Sales Operations, Sales, internal department heads and Customers is required to ensure invoicing efforts are in tandem with customer requirements and non-standard customer agreements. Supervision of 9 to 10 Billing Specialists and assisting to improve invoicing efficiencies while also enhancing processes as determined by business requirements. Reconciling and resolving billing disputes through collaboration with customers, sales operations, and sales.

1. Manage 9 to 10 Billing colleagues and oversees Invoicing efforts

2. Oversee that work orders are billed in a timely fashion and in compliance with Customer SLAs

3. Balance the workload of the Billing Team for growth in the business associated with new customers and shifts in business segments

4. Prepare and analyze Billing reports and disseminate billing information to Billing Colleagues on a timely basis. Ensures guidance and focus on accounts that are in jeopardy of not being billed based on customer invoicing SLAs

5. Oversee invoice submissions are done in a timely manner through third-party invoicing portals

6. Recommend policy and procedure changes when necessary and establish best practices to improve current functions

7. Oversee potential problem accounts and send follow-up correspondence in a timely manner

8. Prepare month end reporting reconciliations

9. Assist with cash application information and reconcile accounts as required

10. May assist other department heads and other colleagues with miscellaneous analysis and reporting

11. Oversee month-end and year-end billing close

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ ytears' experience in Billing or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years of billing and improving billing efficiencies experience Previous supervisory experience required
