Position Summary:

Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers? We invite qualified candidates to apply for our Software Technician opening

The primary purpose of this position is to be a leading contributor on a software development team. The Programmer Technician will work with other team members that are peers and senior to themselves. Primary responsibilities include all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements design, development, integration, and testing. This position requires the person to interface and communicate with the client(s) in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Associates Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
-Strong experience with C#
-Familiarity with Git Version Control
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Experience with Typescript, Angular, and React
- Experience building end to end solutions for the Azure Cloud platform
- Experience with PuTTY
- Familiarity with REST API architectures
- Familiarity with unit testing within C# and typescript
