Document Technician
Location: Livonia, MI
Shift: Monday – Friday , 8:00am – 5:00pm when in the office
Compensation: $16 /hour
Direct Hire
Travel 1-3 weeks per month
Family-owned Disaster Restoration company based in Livonia is seeking Document Technicians for its document division.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and restore documents affected by water, smoke, soot, mold, etc. to pre-loss condition.
  • Cooperate with other team members and perform duties assigned.
  • Inspect own work and ensure that it is complete, thorough, and meets quality standards and/or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Periodic overnight travel to customer locations is required. When traveling on company business, all travel, lodging, and meals are provided.
  • Working out of town restoration projects
Requirements:
  • Understanding of data confidentiality principles is necessary
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes
  • Will be cross-trained to work with other divisions in the company for local and out of town job location. Travel time is typically 1-3 weeks
