Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors, maintaining records, and resolving any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Code invoices to appropriate accounts and cost centers. Enter invoices into the accounting system. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Prepare and process checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Ensure timely payment of invoices and expense vouchers. Maintain and update vendor files. Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Reconcile vendor statements and correct any discrepancies. Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records. Assist with month-end closing processes. Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations.Requirements
