Overview

The Nurse Manager provides leadership for her/his designated area of responsibility in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Administration, Nurse Practice Act, and Code of Ethics for Nursing in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Strategic plan for the Nursing Division.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

Bachelor degree in Nursing Three (3) years of progressively responsible, relevant clinical experience

Preferred:

Previous supervisory experience Master’s degree in Nursing or related field

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Current New York State Registered Nurse License

Preferred:

Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration and/or clinical practice area)
