Description of Responsibilities: Prepare timely and accurate detail financial statements according to general accepted accounting standards, principles, company policies and procedures. Perform daily cash flow worksheets, monthly banking activities, reconciliations, work papers, adjusting journal entries and department level specialty reports. Work closely with internal staff to ensure all general ledger account items are recorded accurately. Maintain lease, real estate, vehicle files along with completing lease and fixed asset roll-forward schedule. Assisting management in any items needed. Assisting other staff during monthly and annual closing as needed. Any other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of Finance, Director of Finance or Chief Operating Officer.

Required Experience:

Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures. Ability to perform a high volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy, and to complete difficult mathematical computations with or without technical assistance (such as a calculator or spreadsheet). Superior analytical and organization skills. Ability to prepare financial and other records in a systematic, neat and legible manner. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Possess a high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality. Excellent verbal and communication skills, including ability to speak clearly.Above average knowledge of Microsoft applications, most important being Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

Required skills:

Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university or the equivalent of a college degree and years of work related experience. Experience working with month-end reconciliations, leases, financial account analysis, financial statement preparation and complex reporting environments preferred.
