Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Paraprofessionals to assist in ASD classrooms across our school district. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASD in achieving their academic and developmental goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in the classroom.
- Support classroom teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students with daily tasks and activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Preferred Grade Level: Applicants are asked to indicate their preference for grade level between PreK-12th.
Employment Details: This is a contracted position with Soliant Schools, offering full-time hours and W-2 employment status. Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $30 based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
