Description:

Aceto Landscape Architects (ALA) is seeking a design-oriented candidate with 1-2 years of work experience to join our boutique practice in either our Portland, ME or Jackson, NH studios. We are a design-driven practice involved in a diverse array of local and national projects ranging from carefully curated garden spaces to large scale master plans, to transportation and planning studies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design at all scales and enthusiasm to contribute to all facets of the creative and project delivery process. The candidate will work directly with private, municipal, and commercial development clients. They will participate in a collaborative team environment and will possess a strong technical skill set, exceptional graphic abilities, interest in learning new skills, as well as a proactive approach to all things 'ALA'. Skills Required:

Preferred Skill Set
•Exceptional graphic abilities (Hand Sketching, 3D modeling, Photoshop rendering)
•Highly organized 
•Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact with our team and consultants
•Proficiency in the following programs:
Adobe Suite (Photoshop + InDesign)
Sketchup (Rhino* + VRay*)
AutoCAD 
Lumion
Vectorworks* 
*a plus, but not required
Position Expectations
Candidate will jump into a variety of projects assisting with design iterating, graphic visualization and 3D modeling, construction documentation, and participate in the creative process and project delivery from beginning to end.

Remote Work Policy
We are a hybrid studio working 3 days per week in office with the option of choosing remote or in-office work for the remaining 2 days per week.
