The Event Captain is the overriding authority during events when the Events Director is not present. As such, They are responsible for managing and overseeing all personnel, facilities, service standards, financials, marketing and administrative tasks of the day-to-day operations in conjunction with the Events Director This sheet is to provide our Event Captain a template of job duties, focusing on Sales, Health & Sanitation, Service and Product Quality. Additional responsibilities not listed may be required of the Event Captain.


Responsibilities:

- Assist in all aspects of planning events, working with clients, event coordination, and execution.

- Manage event set up, tear down, and follow-ups.

- Trach event performance.

- Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters.

- The Event Captain should have a love for special event management, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic profession, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.

- Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern, work priorities, and meet deadline, and be willing to work evenings and weekends. 

- Close out all events as required.


Skills:

- Capable of working with internal and external teams.

- Coordinate events.

- Familiar with event software.

o Resy

- Work under strict deadlines.

- Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.

- Fantastic customer service ethics and high expectations of quality.

- Well organized, dedicated, confident, energetic, and creative.
