L4 Server Hardware Technician
Scottsdale, Arizona
Pay: $37/hr W2 | Benefits + Paid Vacation

Looking for a Server Hardware Technician with strong experience in server hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting server hardware and infrastructure peripherals in a data center/ lab environment. This role involves working closely with engineers and customers to build, test, update, debug server hardware and operating systems and manage the entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Provision, install, configure, and maintain server hardware and infrastructure peripherals in a data center setting.
  • Collaborate with engineers and customers to ensure smooth deployment and operation of server hardware and operating systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of server hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Own the end-to-end physical touch of servers, from initial deployments to system retirements.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and improvement.
  • Adhere to security best practices and company policies regarding operations.

Requirements:
  • Must have experience in server hardware troubleshooting, Linux command lines, and networking.
  • Proven experience in provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server hardware in a Lab/DC environment.
  • Hands-on experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
