You will edit general and technical Bank content for use in multiple channels, including the public website and print publications. You will also write social media posts, website teasers, and headlines. You will report to the director of content and publishing.

Responsibilities:

Refine and correct copy to meet professional expectations, project requirements, and organizational goals and to help protect the Atlanta Fed’s reputation.

Edit content for grammatical and factual errors.

Project-manage edited copy and ensure that it is delivered within deadlines.

Consult with authors to revise content.

Write teasers for stories, research papers, events, and surveys.

Write social media posts that bring readers to the public website.

Perform a final proof of all communication materials for accuracy and consistency.

Provide editorial expertise to the Internal Communications team.

Use project management software to create projects with tasks, deadlines, and assignees.

Work closely with multiple teams within and outside of Public Affairs, including web, graphics design, media relations, and podcast and video production teams.

Education:  Bachelor's degree or four years’ equivalent experience
