Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to pick up and transport a variety of goods. Strong computer skills to be able to query, input, and update inventory records Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs (such as Word, Excel, ERPs, and cloud based Property Management System) is a must Prepares material and equipment for shipment to include wrapping, boxing, crating, strapping and palletization to insure its safe shipment in accordance with commercial packing methods and DoD regulations Assists in the tagging, tracking and storage of government furnished equipment (GFE), and SRC capital assets. Ensure all property (GFP, SRC) are readily accounted for and stored in a secure location Participates in the verification of company and government-owned property inventories, assists in reconciliation, and prepares appropriate reports to management Coordinates with internal customers and arranges shipments with carriers Manages warehouse storage areas to include configuration management to maximize space utilization Operates company vehicle to make deliveries and pickups Supports Division Government Property Coordinator in periodic audits, inventory, and record updates

Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Have a clean valid driver's license. Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds without assistance Ability to qualify for SECRET security clearance Ability to operate gas and electric forklifts and hand trucks/pallet jacks

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Familiarity in operating mobile barcode/IUID readers Three years of inventory/supply experience relevant to a DoD Contractor environment. Knowledge of FAR part and 45, DFARS part 245 and other contract clauses impacting government property CPPS or higher NPMA Certification

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
