Brand Ambassador

Medieval Times is looking for a Brand Ambassador to join our Scottsdale, Arizona Team. The role of the Brand Ambassador is to be an extension of the Corporate Marketing & Sales team. This person will function as a brand ambassador and actively solicit local partnerships and opportunities to engage with the community. They will be the ‘boots on the ground’ that execute the marketing and sales strategy, initiatives and action items handed down from the Corporate Marketing & Sales team. Must be able to work cohesively with castle operation teams, corporate teams, and outside partners to accomplish goals. This person can work successfully independently and with a team. The ideal candidate is an energetic team player with an infectious positive attitude. A master level multi- tasker, they are a ‘go getter’ that know how to find and create opportunities.

Works closely with industry partners, attractions, and associations, to create opportunities to co-op and share information.Proactively search for, oversee, and manage local promotional and marketing opportunities.Project management and leadership of local marketing activations in the community and in the castle including tabling at events, promotional materials distribution, taking show cast to events and more.Represent the brand in meetings, presentations to clients, vendors, partners, and guests.Establish and maintain top-tier relationships with local vendors, partners, and community/industry leaders.Assist with engagement via social media channels, review sites etc. to drive marketing communications and brand initiatives.On an ‘as needed basis’; assist with content creation and fan engagement on social media platforms to garner more engagement, impressions, and build authentic interactions.Researching and recommending influencer partners and coordinating co-op opportunities.Participates on special projects as needed as part of the Corporate Marketing and Sales team.Assist Group Sales and NCC as needed while providing excellent guest service.Manage marketing/promotional items inventory.Acts as liaison between media and castle for onsite media hits

A Day in the life of a Brand Ambassador:

There are a lot of fun opportunities that this role will get to participate in as the Brand Ambassador. You will be the local face of Medieval Times at onsite promotional events like Spring Training baseball games, networking happy hours, industry luncheons, educational engagements and more. You will be out in the market with Knights and Queens to surprise and delight people with goodies, photos opps, swag and tickets You will be working on logistics for partnerships that create awareness, brand engagement and drive ticket sales. All of these require planning, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Part of this role will also include time at your desk working with key stakeholders to ensure we represent the brand flawlessly and with joy at every event. You will also be sleuthing and hosting conference calls with potential partners to create opportunities for co-ops. You will be in meetings in person as well as virtually and will be called on to represent the brand in meetings and presentations. Every week will be different and sometimes hours may vary but know there is flexibility and there is always room for fun

Experience/Requirements:

Two years prior experience in marketing, public relations, advertising or equivalent.

Proven track record of success taking initiative, working independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
