Job Title: Product Development Project Manager
Location: NW St. Louis
Summary: Are you passionate about managing product development through cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class products? Join the engineering team of a manufacturing leader located in NW St Louis. We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee New Product Development at company headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple, simultaneous new product development projects.
- Define project scope, including cost targets, product features, and deadlines.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, product management) to ensure timely decision-making and task completion.
- Facilitate clear communication between project team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Oversee prototype builds and prioritize feedback for design iterations.
- Ensure proper documentation of key information from meetings, emails, and other media.
- Mediate between conflicting departments, stakeholders, or project team members to find agreeable solutions.
- Deliver executive-level summaries of project progress.
- Suggest improvements for project management processes, tools, and resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering-related field preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience with Smartsheet work management software.
