Physician Extender

Full-Time Position. 2 year commitment. Best for a gap year while transitioning to residency.
Physician Extender Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and Preparing Medical Records.
- Seeing Patients and helping with clinical care.
- Seeing follow-ups independently.
- Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork for patients requested by insurance/their work/etc.
- Finishing all clinical notes with accuracy.
Requirements for Physician Extender:
- Seeking a highly motivated grad student/medical student/medical grad with clinical experience.
- Prior experience with taking a medical history, scribing encounters efficiently, and completing medical documentation and paperwork is preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in NYS (e.g. active work visa, or US citizen)
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary with a yearly increase and a production bonus. We do not offer a benefits package or health insurance coverage.
