The PA will collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients dealing with chronic and acute pain.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, a passion for pain management, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and reviewing diagnostic tests related to pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Prescribe medications, including pain management medications, within the PA’s scope of practice and state regulations.
  • Administer and/or assist with interventional pain management techniques such as nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and joint injections.
  • Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, medication use, and lifestyle changes to improve quality of life.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response to therapy.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care for patients with complex pain conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management therapies, medications, and procedures.
