Position Overview
Perform setup and operation of livestream equipment at Mitchell Hall Theatre. Set up and strike livestream equipment and ensure smooth operation of livestream performances.
Department Specific Job Functions
The Livestream Video Operator provides support for Mitchell Hall productions. Duties include setting up video and streaming equipment, programming video feeds and running the video equipment during performances. Performances may include, live theater, music concerts, and dance performances. Students will be expected to attend technical rehearsals and performances. Students may also assist with running microphone feeds for optimal sound during streams and other duties as assigned.

Enrollment Requirements
Fall/Spring Semesters : All student employees must be enrolled at least half time to be eligible to work any UCO student position. Half time enrollment for Fall/Spring is considered 5 hours for graduates and 6 hours for undergraduates. International students shall be enrolled full time to be eligible to work as a student worker. Full time enrollment is 9 credit hours for graduates and 12 credit hours for undergraduates.
Summer Semester : All student employees must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours to be eligible to work a regular student position. Students not enrolled in summer classes must be enrolled in Fall classes in order to work on campus, but they (and the department) will be required to pay FICA taxes.
Enrollment Exception : If the number of credit hours needed to graduate is less than the minimum number of hours required to work, the student must obtain a letter from his/her Academic Advisor, stating the number of hours needed to graduate, and submit it to Human Resources. This pertains to both regular and Federal Work Study positions. Contact for more information.
Qualifications/Experience Required
Must have knowledge of basic video and audio equipment (cameras, microphones, cables, etc.). Previous experience with livestreaming equipment is preferred but not required. Must be able to work independently, have good attention to detail and be knowledgeable of computer technology. Student must have a flexible schedule and is required to work evenings and weekends. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs.
