About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will be the face of our company, interacting with patients and ensuring a positive and efficient experience. Your primary responsibilities include drawing blood samples accurately and efficiently, following established protocols, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy:
- Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Patient Services:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Explain procedures clearly and answer patient questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately and timely.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states).
- Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
