This position works from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame. Responsible for offering remediation with sonographers when necessary.Performs ultrasound diagnostic examinations in accordance with Level I and Level II Advanced sonographer.Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of sonographer candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.May be responsible for High Level Disinfection of devices, supplies and/or equipment.Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of advanced sonographers and communicates results back to departmental leadership.Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor. Completion of formal training in an Ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.3 years of ultrasound experience required. Performance review consistent with minimum of strong/Solid performance on last performance review.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
RDMS Registered required. CPR or BLS Preferred. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
