Project Cost Controller

Overview:

Develops, establishes, and maintains all aspects of the cost control effort on one or more of the larger, more complex and demanding projects. Incumbent utilizes his/her broad experience, expertise, and exposure to various types of company projects and clients.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
  • 5-10 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in cost budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, with knowledge of cost-processing systems like SAP, Contruent, EcoSys, etc
  • Expertise in Progress Measurement using EVM, including quantity-based EVM within partner work environments and financially based EVM.
  • Familiarity with Progress Measurement methodologies for EPC and EPCM related contracts, including CPI/SPI analyses.
  • Full understanding of the project controls operating model employed by key partner firms within the EPCM workspace for a semiconductor industry or equivalent.
  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have potential to perform in a lead capacity, as well as familiarity with industry practices
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Duties:

  • Ability to support the internal Client reporting calendar and reporting requirements
  • Proactive alignment with partners regarding standard implementation, development of Project Controls plans, and compliance with invoice management processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners to ensure Monthly Reports encompass all necessary Project Controls information, including Cost, EAC, Trend logs, EVM, Change Management, and Risk Management, etc.
