Our client is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in retail and commercial banking, investment services, and wealth management. With a commitment to financial excellence and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a highly qualified Director of Finance to join their executive team.
Job OverviewThe Director of Finance will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the fiscal health of our organization. This position requires a seasoned financial expert with deep knowledge of the banking and financial services industry, regulatory requirements, and emerging financial technologies.
Requirements
Education and Experience- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance roles within the banking or financial services industry
- At least 8 years of experience in a senior leadership position in a large financial institution
- Expert knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements in the banking industry
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices in financial institutions
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial information to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced financial software systems
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions in the financial sector
