We are currently seeking a IT Project Manager/Coordinator to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Seeking highly motivated, experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Jr. IT Project Manager/Coordinator  – support includes supporting large scale Federal .GOV citizen-centric public websites.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides project management support to multiple medium-sized projects or at least one complex project that requires high levels of functional integration and some organizational change management
  • Supports all aspects of the project execution including chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management and reporting
  • Facilitates resource planning, cost estimation, budget development and cost control
  • Ensures consistent application of all standard project management methodology processes, tools and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contributes to own team/closely related teams through quality and accuracy of own output
  • Builds productive internal relationships
  • Collaborates with others to achieve objectives and ensure information flow
  • Conveys information in a concise and professional manner
  • Asks effective questions and solicits feedback to understand needs
  • Anticipates future needs based on past transactions
  • Strong understanding of IT project management principles and techniques
  • Demonstrates solid proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company's project management information system
  • Solid ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans
  • Solid ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance
  • Solid capability at providing effective performance reporting for the client and company in order to monitor the progress of the project
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills

Requirements:

  • Project Management-Agile Methodology: 3 to 5 years exp.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
