The Enterprise Architect will investigate and isolate root causes of issues within our customer’s Azure services to prevent future occurrences for our clients. Combining deep technical knowledge and domain expertise, you will deliver a unique understanding of internal Microsoft resources along with the ability to set expectations aligned with the US Cloud Premier Support engagement team and the needs of our clients. Analyze support issues and provide recommendations based on standard methodologies for customer’s Azure environments and related solutions.

Location: Remote, US
*This position is not eligible to be performed in New York, Colorado, Oregon, or California.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client collaborators to translate business requirements into cloud solutions and deploy, upgrade, or migrate to the latest Microsoft technologies.
  • Evaluate current customer DevOps processes and procedures with the goal of improving them, while adhering to best practices, and using DevOps capabilities to their fullest.
  • Make recommendations on the best course to business scenarios that will reduce the time needed for successful deployments or migrations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of critical situations and make recommendations and plans for preventing recurrences.
  • Collaborate with the TAM to examine ticket trends and identify recurring issues and common threads. Analyze issues and engineer changes to proactively prevent and solve current problems.
  • Lead reactive troubleshooting or proactive service delivery, such as a risk assessment, a health assessment, or DevOps process and flow review.
  • Perform technical architecture, design, installation, troubleshooting, and advisory services for clients’ projects.
  • Guide clients during system and application upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • Act as the SME through design, implementation, and support of solutions with Azure DevOps and related technology integrations.
  • Deliver tailored, technology-specific training in person or virtually to increase knowledge base and understanding for client’s internal teams.
  • Articulate effectively to both technical and non-technical resources across all levels of an organization.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to connect and influence diverse audiences and inspire change and adoption of new technologies.
  • Participate in problem analysis and assist in determining strategic software solutions and enhancements to address identified issues.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and application releases.





Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio andor VSTO, Github repositories.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Enterprise customers in a consultative capacity.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012R2 or newer), Azure Active Directory, cyber security, and OSS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps ServicesServer, Github, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Monitor, Visual Studio, andor Azure Kubernetes Services.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations to audiences varying in size.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementation, migration, and upgrades across Azure.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with organizational change processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an extended team.
  • Experience with multiple Microsoft Power Platform entities, workflows, configurations, customization development, integration development, reporting, dashboards, web resources, file management, security model, and UI development.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations consulting and/or service delivery or related preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Education/Training:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
