As a Senior Manager, your core responsibilities will be to independently manage legal consulting and technical projects for our clients. Working as a legal management subject matter expert, you will help our clients identify their problem statement and work towards a resourceful, and scalable solution. 

This role will primarily be responsible for managing client work and will have the opportunity to identify new business opportunities and participate in RFPs, proposals, pitches, partner and client development initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage legal consulting and technical projects, ensuring successful delivery for clients, such as implementations, system selections and business process improvement projects for clients.
  • Act as a legal management subject matter expert, collaborating with clients to define problems and develop innovative solutions around contract management, e-billing, matter management, document management, and/or legal hold)
  • Work in a client-facing environment, helping them define their problems, present and implement recommended solutions
  • Work collaboratively with Qualitas partners on shared projects; sharing information, risks, challenges, and solutions for the betterment of the client and project
  • Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope
  • Work with project team to develop creative and scalable solutions for our clients
  • Train junior staff on new technologies, collaborate on best practices and develop subject matter expertise on key legal and corporate processes
  • Contribute to the company's growth by identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities within the legal consulting and technical project space. Work collaboratively with key partners on proposals and solutions for mutual and prospective clients.  

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in legal consulting, project management, or a related field.
  • Broad experience with designing legal enterprise software solutions (i.e., Contract Lifecycle Management, Matter Management, e-Billing, Document Management Legal Hold, etc.)
  • Have experience in a legal management environment (i.e., legal operations, legal software solutions, legal management consulting)
  • Advanced understanding of project management standards and methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience with the development of business requirements documentation, design documentation, project plans and other project related material
  • Willing to learn and expand business development skills; qualify leads and opportunities, and build and deliver proposals
  • Experience in a client facing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and program management skill
  • Willing to be part of an innovative consulting firm, with a collaborative mindset and the gumption to deliver for our clients with confidence
