ROLE SUMMARY

2–4-year structured program offering extensive training and mentoring, designed to develop future analystsDiverse responsibilities including transaction and sector related research projects, collaboration with analysts, portfolio managers, and trading desk, and extensive financial analysisOpportunity to interact with senior management teams across an array of municipal issuersDaily opportunity to learn directly from our senior investment professionalsExpectation to provide investment insight and impact the investment processStrong support for pursuing the CFA designationCompetitive compensation with significant upside potential for high performersExceptional performers have the potential to be promoted to Fixed Income Research AnalystThis position is based in Baltimore, Maryland but eligible for our flexible work schedule (4 days/week in office, 1 day/week remote)

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field preferred Strong academic background and intellectual curiosityHighly motivated, confident self-starter with the ability to work independently and with othersBackground and/or strong interest in finance preferredInterest in credit research and fixed income investingEffective communication skills (verbal and written)Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth thematic research across a broad spectrum of topics which can be additive to the investment processKnowledge of and interest in the municipal market preferredProgress toward CFA designation is a plusApplicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant work status) 

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to one day a week.
