Our federal client is on the lookout for a dedicated Incident Forensic Specialist to join their elite team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of cyber defense, utilizing your skills to protect critical infrastructure while collaborating with top minds in the field.

This W2 contract offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, with opportunities to work both remotely and onsite in Washington DC and Germantown, MD—giving you the chance to engage directly with key stakeholders across locations. Plus, if you hold an Active Top-Secret Clearance, you’re already on the fast track to success.

  • You'll spearhead incident response efforts, mitigating cyber threats and ensuring a rapid recovery.
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex security challenges and guide critical remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with system administrators to tackle the latest cyber incidents, from investigation to containment and resolution.
  • Lead digital forensics analysis, ensuring precision and thoroughness in every investigation.
  • You’ll also shape the future of security operations by refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and developing detailed After Action Reports.

Requirements


What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in forensics, incident response, and cybersecurity operations.
  • A proactive mindset, ready to collaborate and drive impact.
  • Flexibility to work onsite in both Washington DC and Germantown, MD as needed.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
