Join RoseRyan, a renowned accounting consultancy located in the heart of Silicon Valley, as a Payroll Accountant. In this integral role, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions for a diverse client base, ensuring seamless processing and compliance.

As a Payroll Accountant, you will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service, fostering strong relationships while executing precise payroll operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accurate and timely payroll for multi-state clients, addressing unique compliance requirements.
  • Maintain detailed payroll records, including documenting variances and ensuring data integrity.
  • Handle payroll taxes, including government filings and W-2 preparation.
  • Process 401(k), deferred compensation, medical benefits, bonuses, and ESPP
  • Collaborate with client contacts to resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Stay informed on payroll legislation and implement necessary changes.
  • Assist in periodic audits and process improvements to enhance efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in payroll processing or payroll accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations at both state and federal levels.
  • Experience with payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under tight deadlines.

Pay is DOE: $50-$60/hr
