About this Opportunity:

As a Vice President of Retirement Plan Consultant (VP, Retirement Plan Consultant), you will lead our retirement plan consulting services and provide strategic guidance to our clients in managing their retirement plans. The VP, Retirement Plan Consultant, is responsible for developing and implementing retirement plan strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional client service. Your expertise in retirement plan consulting, financial analysis, and client relationship management will be instrumental in helping our clients achieve their retirement goals. In this role, you'll get to:

Develop and implement retirement plan strategies for clients, considering their unique needs, goals, and regulatory requirements

Conduct a comprehensive analysis of retirement plans, including plan design, investment options, fees, and participant engagement, to identify areas for improvement and optimization

Provide strategic guidance to clients on retirement plan governance, fiduciary responsibilities, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as plan sponsors, investment managers, and legal advisors, to ensure effective plan implementation and ongoing plan management

Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in retirement plan consulting, and proactively communicate relevant insights and recommendations to clients

Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service

Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and relationship building, to expand the client base and drive revenue growth

We're looking for talent who has:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Retirement Plan Consultant, Certified Financial Planner) is highly desirable

Preferably 10 years of experience with retirement plans or related experience

Strong knowledge of retirement plan regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices

Experience in building and maintaining client relationships, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity

Experience in a relevant industry or sector, such as financial services or retirement plan administration, is preferred

Obtain Orion Industry Certification

Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
