JCPenney - Floor Supervisor

Join our team as a Floor Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency in our retail environment. As a Floor Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations on the sales floor, lead a team of associates, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Duties:

- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Supervise and support sales associates in their daily tasks, including product information, recommendations, and sales transactions.
- Maintain a well-organized sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging merchandise displays, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Answer customer inquiries with excellent communication skills and handle phone calls with professionalism.
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately, following proper procedures for cash handling.
- Demonstrate expertise in products, promotions, and sales events to effectively assist customers.
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate discounts, sales tax, and change for customers.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer needs in a fast-paced retail setting.


Qualifications:

- Strong organizational skills to ensure a well-maintained sales floor.
- Excellent communication skills for providing top-notch customer service.
- Previous experience in retail sales or store management is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve sales goals.
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate processing of transactions.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Multilingual abilities are beneficial for better customer communication.
- Experience with administrative tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge of wireless sales is advantageous.
