Member Services Representative
Starting Rate $17.25/hr
Location: San Antonio, TX (On-site as needed)
Hours: M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM (Training), Shift between 7:00AM - 6:30PM with rotating Saturdays
Duration: 6+ months

Job Summary:
  • Extensive member contact via inbound/outbound calls to start and process prescription orders.
  • Research and resolve issues related to customer inquiries using PeopleSafe and LINKS.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers, addressing concerns from Customer Care, Account Managers, and Quality Assurance.
  • Verify and re-verify insurance coverage for patients and resolve payment issues.
  • Post payments, complete mail-order prescription transactions, and follow standard procedures.
  • Provide empathetic and professional customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers.
Key Qualifications:
  • 1+ year in customer service or call center (handling 75+ calls/day preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic data entry and intermediate math skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance terminology, and third-party vendors is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
