Planner & Replenishment Retail Buyer

We are seeking a Planner & Replenishment Buyer to join LuLu’s Fun Food Music Merchandising Team in Gulf Shores, AL . We are looking for an analytical, responsible individual who will take charge for predicting sales, planning inventory flow, issuing purchase orders, and creating useful solutions.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage efficient forecasting tools suited to the company and its inventory.
-Monitor and report sales forecasts, proposing strategies for improvements.
-Collaborate with management to develop risk assessments.
-Stay up to date with new product developments to make recommendations on opening orders.
-Work with the Director to assign velocity profiles for new merchandise and adjust for seasonality.
-Utilize software to monitor warehouse and gift shop inventories.
-Communicate and meet with vendors, issue purchase orders, and follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery.
-Monitor inventory levels to reduce surplus or insufficiency.
-Manage logistics to monitor inventory and storage.
-Conduct detailed inventory reports.
-Develop and follow operational policies and procedures that align with LuLu’s direction.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in management, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a forecasting role.
-A valid driver’s license is essential.
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
-Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
-Proficiency in inventory software or the ability to learn LuLu’s inventory management software.
-Strong mathematical skills.
