Work with Warranty Department Leads to meet plant, regional and corporate goals through all or part of, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Responsibility

Prepare and communicate warranty reports such as trend or cost analysis, cost analysis, product comparisons, top issues, cross reading, lessons learned and other necessary analyses using OEM portal or other data sources with timeliness and accuracy. Maintain warranty claims database coding to facilitate subject analysis. Perform debit claim analysis, follow through dispute and financial transaction completion. Maintain and track claims acceptance evidence status. Report accuracy, availability, cost, and usage in customer warranty database of dealer Labor Operation Codes and service parts. Update Warranty KPIs for program, plant, region and global as required. Track implementation of established corrective actions and Plant Warranty Risk Assessment (program history). Analyze available data to predict and propose Webasto position for the negotiation of acceptance rates (TF) or cost sharing with OEM. Conduct OEM returned parts analysis according to Webasto and OEM standards to assure on time and accurate results. Track and communicate results as required. Maintain parts return area, equipment and inventory to Webasto WPS requirements. Track and report inventories (parts and equipment). Advise where additional resources required for maintenance of area. Assess through internal audit plant and regional Webasto Warranty Management and WPS compliance annually. Report results and corrective actions to management. Compile and prepare plant evidence for customer and industry audits. Support AQE and PDT development of Stage 1 checklist and test criteria. Support with available warranty data root cause analysis and action plan development with plant program teams for OEM meetings as required. Propose potential solutions as appropriate. Support acquisition project analysis and creation of new program warranty targets as required. Support optimization of current and development of new warranty processes, methods, and tools. Support warranty training at plant level. Conduct duties according to One Webasto Principles and values. Comply to applicable WIMS, Customer and Webasto standards during performance of duties. Escalate to direct line management as appropriate any obstacles to achieving OEM and Webasto quality and warranty targets.

Skills

BS degree or 3 years minimum equivalent workplace experience. Electrical engineering degree preferred. 7 years minimum automotive warranty field analysis experience preferred. Webasto Advanced Warranty Process Certified. Able to travel internationally as needed. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & Statistical software. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. 2nd language fluency preferred. Intermediate skill in problem solving methodologies. Intermediate knowledge of design concepts and core documents: product drawings, manufacturing standards, customer requirements and other production process documents. Intermediate knowledge of manufactured products: functionality, detailed production process and intended use in field. Intermediate knowledge of IATF and VDA 6.3 audit requirements and practices Intermediate knowledge of potential product safety risk. Basic knowledge of statistical manufacturing monitoring processes, design of experiments and probabilities. Demonstrated strong ability to make data –driven decisions. Demonstrated openness to new ideas and learning experience of new concepts, methods, tools or processes. Demonstrated continuous improvement mentality.
