Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or arelated field (or equivalent workexperience).
  • Experience:
  • oProvenexperience as a System Administrator in a DoD or similarlyregulated environment.
  • oStrongexperience with VMware and virtualization technologies.
  • oStrongexperience with Windows Server administration.
  • oIndepthknowledge of networking protocols and system security bestpractices.
  • oExperiencemanaging Active Directory Group Policies and userpermissions.
  • TechnicalSkills:
  • oProficiencyin Windows Server administration and management.
  • oFamiliaritywith SharePoint and Jira for project collaboration.
  • oExperiencewith system patching and updatemanagement.

PhysicalDemands:The physical demands described here are representative of thosethat must be met by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job with or without reasonableaccommodation. While performing the duties of this job the employeewill regularly sit walk stand and climb stairs and steps. Mayrequire walking long distance from parking to work station.Occasionally movement that requires twisting at the neck and/ortrunk more than the average person squatting/ stooping/kneelingreaching above the head and forward motion will be required. Theemployee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand armor finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity areessential to this position. Specific vision abilities required bythis job include close distance depth perception and tellingdifferences among colors. The employee must be able to communicatethrough speech with clients and public. Hearing requirementsinclude conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Liftingmay require floor to waist waist to shoulder or shoulder tooverhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demandstolerance for various levels of mentalstress

JobDuties:

  • Installconfigure and maintain Windows Server environments including ActiveDirectory and Group Policy management.
  • Manageand optimize VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Implementand maintain system security protocols in accordance with DoDstandards.
  • Monitornetwork performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Performsystem patching and updates to ensure compliance and security.
  • Administerand support SharePoint and Jira for project management andcollaboration.
  • Documentsystem configurations procedures and security policies.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to enhance system functionality andsecurity.
  • Stayupdated on the latest technologies and best practices in systemadministration.
