Gpac is currently working with a family-owned food manufacturer in New York City who has been in business over 15 years. The company values having a family like culture and are currently looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join their team. 

Here are some of the duties:

  • Lead and coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance / repairs of manufacturing equipment
  • Establish and maintain necessary procedures required to perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Assess any problems with the equipment, identify root cause, make the necessary repairs and complete associated documentation
  • Train new and existing mechanics
  • Inventory management 
  • Perform all activities in compliance with company GMP and safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Work on projects as requested

An ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 2 years in a Maintenance Manager role
  • Previous exprience in a food manufacturing envronement; usda a plus
  • Hands-on leadership style
  • Expreince with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, machine repairs, preventative maintenance
  • Knowledge of OSHA principles for safety in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual in Spanisha plus
  • Strong job stability

Company is targeting 120k-130k for a base and are offering relocation for candidates outside the area.
