Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assembles and tests electrical/electronic products and sub-assemblies per accepted safety, quality and productivity standards and protocols. Records and submits productivity and quality metrics to the Team leader or Production Supervisor Maintains his/her work area and tools in an orderly manner daily. Plays a pivotal role in maintaining inventory accuracy. Observes all safety rules and provides suggestions to improve safety and wears proper PPE. Completes all essential duties as well as the applicable paperwork and computer entries on a timely basis.

Performance Metrics

First pass yield. Productivity: measure labor actuals vs. standards. No quality errors; No installation discrepancies. On time delivery of 100%. Inventory accuracy +/- 1% within his/her work area. No safety infractions.

Qualifications

Education: High School education or equivalent. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Basic understanding of circuit boards, schematic reading and electrical meter skills. Background working with AC/DC voltages. Other: Knowledge of MS Office and computer literate.
