Soliant is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a production role. As a Pharmacy Technician - Production, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of medication orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate Data Entry: Input prescription information, medication orders, and patient details into the pharmacy system for processing, requiring attention to detail to prevent errors in medication dispensing.
- Order Organization and Preparation: Organize and prepare medication orders for filling, verifying medication and quantities before they move through the dispensing process.
- Prescription Filling: Assist in filling prescriptions by measuring and packaging medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring that medications are ready for patient distribution.
- Emergency Kit Preparation: Prepare emergency kits (E-kits) with necessary medications for nursing homes or clinics, following strict guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Medication Packaging: Pre-pack bulk medications into smaller, patient-specific doses, ensuring they are properly labeled for easy and safe use by patients or care providers.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in a pharmacy technician role.
- Retail Pharmacy Experience: Preferred.
- PTCB Certification: A plus but not required.
