Currently seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to join our dynamic team. With a reputation for excellence in the construction industry, we are looking for a highly skilled professional with at least 8 years of experience in commercial construction projects. As a Commercial Superintendent, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of our projects. We offer a great team atmosphere and competitive salary. Please note this is a traveling position. 

Job Title: Commercial Superintendent Company: Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews on-site to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any project-related issues and maintain effective communication throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures as required.
  • Review and approve contractor submittals, including RFIs, shop drawings, and material samples.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including daily logs, progress updates, and final project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among all project team members.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong partnerships and facilitate successful project outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Superintendent in the Marine construction industry.
  • USACE experience required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and completing commercial construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions.
