With nearly 200 inpatient beds and various outpatient locations, this full-service pediatric hospital is set to care for more than 150,000 patients each year. For nearly a century, this organization has offered a number of clinical specialties including cardiology, emergency and critical care, surgical services, imaging and laboratory services, neurology, and much more.
The Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Advanced Practice Provider will operate in a professional manner, participates in daily rounding, develops care plans and performs bedside procedures, writes orders for medications or diagnostic tests, ensures accurate documentation appropriate for coding and billing, coordinates discharge or transfer services, and supports the overall mission of the organization. This is a full-time opportunity providing both inpatient and ambulatory care.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed in the state of Texas of ability to obtain upon hire
- Prior working experience in a cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgical setting
