Position Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Collaborate with people in different roles to investigate business needs, and design user-friendly solutions. Analyze existing programs and apps to identify issues or areas for improvement, and suggest solutions. Document your analysis findings and solutions. Create wireframes and mockups. Create documentation or assist in creating guidelines for designing internal components and ensuring consistency. Participate in design critiques and ideation sessions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Possess fundamental knowledge of user experience principles, interface design, visual design, and demonstrate attention to detail. Proficient in creating user flows, site maps, wireframes, and mockups. Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Adobe XD, and/or Sketch. Proficiency in CSS and HTML. Basic understanding of coding languages like JavaScript and Sass is advantageous. Previous exposure to front-end web development is a bonus. Experience working in an Agile environment is highly regarded.

Education and/or Experience

Must hold high school diploma and actively working toward a bachelor’s degree. Advanced education in related field is desired. One year of general work experience is desired. Have a portfolio that shows you have a strong understanding of UXUI design principles and best practices is desired.
