Your Opportunity

A Training Specialist in the Banking Operations department provides business support to all levels within the organization to reinforce business strategy, resolve consistency issues, and motivate individuals to optimal performance. This role is responsible for multiple functions of training, including continuum assessments of the learning process and progress, new hire onboarding and training, as well as supporting other project initiatives in relation to product launch or department initiatives.

What you are good at:

Analyzing, coordinating, and facilitating departmental new hire and ongoing educational training Assessing learning needs within the department and effectively recognize strategic business opportunities Identifying and documenting subject matter educational needs, and actively partner with leadership to strategically support individual success Developing new hires through coaching, mentoring, and motivational techniques Promptly assessing and resolving escalated training concerns Work collaboratively with other members of the organization, including managers and leadership in cross departmental projects and initiatives

What you have

Familiarity with delivering training on processes supported within the brokerage/financial services industry Applied knowledge of adult learning principals, with a minimum of 1+ years facilitation experience Applied knowledge of virtual facilitation and engagement, conducting instructor led programs in virtual platforms, and virtual classroom management, with a minimum 1+ years experience Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritize, sequence, and execute on multiple initiatives simultaneously Strong analytical skills with emphasis on root/cause analysis and process improvement application Comfortability in directly handling client concerns, including ownership of issues, and resolution Ability to articulate the impact our roles, and processes, have on client and business partners Ability to present in front of small or large groups including team leaders Excellent relationship management skills and exceptionally strong sense of teamwork Ability to work effectively in a cross-site environment Technical skills including MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint Knowledge and experience with Investor Services and/or Advisor Services systems and procedures preferred Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with demonstrated exceptional customer service Flexibility in adapting schedule to the needs of the training program, which may include early morning hours, late night hours, or weekend hours to meet deliverable Applied knowledge of instructional content design, curriculum development, measurement, and reporting a plus Why work for us?
