Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in SQL, SAS, R, Python, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience and a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work on cutting-edge projects, develop innovative data solutions, and provide actionable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Use SAS, R, and Python for statistical modeling, data analysis, and machine learning.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Design and implement predictive models to support business decision-making.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, and Python.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS and NIST standards, and adept at managing government-specific IT environments.
  • Well-versed in healthcare IT systems with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations and a background in healthcare systems technology.
