Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintain and evolve the automated build infrastructure as project requirements change. Author and support development related tools and pipelines for use by the larger team. Participate in a rotation of engineers responsible for being the primary point of contact for the development team if there are any infrastructure failures which impact team productivity. Collaborate with IT department on infrastructure related hardware needs to support project development with team members located across multiple regions. Collaborate the Blizzard SRE organization to define, develop, and maintain infrastructure necessary for service deployment, monitoring, and command/control capabilities for the game.

Requirements:

Experience working in any of the following languages: C++, C#, Python. In-depth experience Working with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or TeamCity. Experience with administration and customization of source control solutions such as Perforce and Git Understanding of modern DevOps practices including IaC, GitOps, immutable infrastructure. Understanding of service mesh, load balancing, message bus/queues, stateless services. Experience with load testing, observability, and monitoring of scalable service backends. Excellent spoken and written communications skills.

Nice to haves:

Experience designing and supporting scalable, zero-downtime, high-availability systems. Leveraging configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef. Experience in deployment technologies such as Helm, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes. Experience in distributed and scalable databases, such as Apache Cassandra. Prior game development experience. Experience multi-platform expertise (Windows, Linux, Console).
