What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a collaborative and adaptable Endpoint Security Engineer who will be responsible for activities related to implementation, configuration, management, and maintenance of Blackbaud’s endpoint security solutions. ​

​In this role, you’ll partner with our system owners and other security teams to review, assess, recommend, and implement technical controls to ensure that endpoint security tools are effective, efficient, well managed, and comprehensively deployed. The candidate will secure system implementation and maintenance with a specialty in supporting endpoint security technologies for Blackbaud.

Every role at Blackbaud ultimately helps fuel impact for today’s most vital organizations. As an Endpoint Security Engineer, you’ll: 

Review, develop, and implement security architecture designs.

Ensure that routine maintenance and configuration items are well managed, so that security toolsets are operating effectively which includes proper platform operation, patch upgrades and vendor management.

Provide periodic platform reporting including assessment findings and recommendations for improvement. Implement, monitor and track these improvements until they are adjusted.

Assist in achieving security architecture compliance requirements, including PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA/HITECH, global data privacy requirements, as well as state and federal regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years experience within information technology or Cybersecurity

Experience in administration of antivirus, EDR or application control tools; multi-cloud environments. 

Understanding of cyber security concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, encryption, network security and identity access management (IAM).

Understanding of how to implement security controls and compensating/mitigating controls
