Since first opening our doors as a short-term emergency shelter in 1982 in the same location we stand today, Guest House of Milwaukee has grown to provide a full continuum of onsite and community-based programs that address the comprehensive, evolving needs of individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

About the Role
The Vice President of Development executes and leads all aspects of development for Guest House of Milwaukee including individual giving, proposal development, grant reporting, donor presentations, digital communications, online giving campaign, development collateral, and prospect research. As a member of the executive team, the Vice President of Development is a critical collaborator in the development and facilitation of organizational strategy. With a new CEO focused on external engagement, Guest House has re-invigorated the energy of the organization with many of our existing partners. This position is key to continued growth and requires a professional ready to build and grow our impact. This position supervises two development and engagement support staff currently but will grow as funding increases to ensure a capacitated development function.
