The Recruitment Coordinator position in the College of Business Graduate Programs Department is responsible for recruiting graduate level students interested in pursuing their masters business degree and/or graduate certificate programs offered by the College of Business. This position recruits specifically for 4 MBA programs, 3 specialized degrees, and 14 graduate certificates. Responsible for developing and facilitating COB recruiting programming on-campus and in the greater community.

In addition, this position will be actively involved in planning outbound recruiting and communications efforts directed at all potential graduate student prospects and the development and presentation of subsequent reporting requirements.The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the Graduate Programs department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Required Job Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Business or related field; Strong evidence of customer-service orientation including ability to work with individuals in both a face-to-face and virtual format; Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills demonstrated by cover letter and experience in public speaking; Ability to articulate the value of a business education (as demonstrated in cover letter); Ability to show initiative and independence as well as ability to function well in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, demonstrated by past work experience; Experience with presenting at program and recruitment events both in-person and virtually; Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize projects effectively (as demonstrated in cover letter). Preferred Job Qualifications Masters Degree in business or related field; Evidence of working independently and working as part of a coordinated team; Proficiency using technology, such as MS Office Suite, Excel and Access, and student information systems, such as Salesforce, Banner and Slate, that contributes to a data-driven recruiting environment; Higher education work experience. Essential Duties Job Duty Category Prospective Student Engagement Duty/Responsibility Act as the first point of contact and a representative of Colorado State University and the College of Business, this individual must act professionally and ethically while performing job duties. Initiate and cultivate relationships with prospects from the initial outreach through lead and opportunity development, through the application stage and first term enrollment. Conduct interviews with student prospects, gauging level of interest, qualifications, and fit for the desired graduate program. This will include clarifying program details, communicating and validating admission requirements, and providing guidance on next steps for pursuing a graduate degree. In addition, this position will conduct admission interviews with MBA candidates to determine level of readiness for MBA programs. Extend invitations and schedule campus visits for students and families/friends. Provide excellent and timely customer service to prospective students including coordination of individualized prospective visits that may include college and department tours, one-on-one meetings with faculty, and classroom visits. Be available to answer queries from students via phone, email, and text during the workday. Communicate the value of a business education to a variety of constituents students and families, faculty, professional staff, and other stakeholders). Percentage Of Time 50 Job Duty Category Program Planning and Implementation Duty/Responsibility Detailed attention and compliance with the pre-established process of developing a prospect from initial inquiry through to the enrollment process. Involvement in process and software reiteration based on user, prospect, and management feedback. Providing anecdotal prospect feedback to Program Managers and Marketing department to enhance communications to student prospects. This includes topics such as motivating factors to pursue a graduate degree, top selling features of each program, and why prospects go elsewhere. Ability to quickly learn new program materials Communicate across departments and programs to understand individual program nuances. Percentage Of Time 20 Job Duty Category Outreach and Presentations Duty/Responsibility Present and conduct outreach at recruiting events customized for target audiences at local, regional and national sites.  Travel and setup to and from events.  Be available some evenings and potential weekends for events or event travel. Manage event budgets of $-$ per event, for 10-20 events per year. Percentage Of Time 10 Job Duty Category Database Management Duty/Responsibility Based on proficiency with Salesforce CRM, manage all graduate programs recruiting workflows, design and generate analytics and customized reports. Experience in Zoom, TEAMS, webinar platforms, and other communication platforms helpful for both in-person and virtual recruiting efforts. Ability to interpret student inquiry reports and determine priority of lead outreach efforts based on trends, volume, and approaching deadlines Apply and analyze student inquiries through a lead scoring process to identify qualified students for best program fit.
