Position Summary:

The Security Officer's responsible for performing licensed security guarding duties to ensure the safety and security of assigned client location, its visitors, guests, residents and their property. By exhibiting vigilance and tactfulness in following company protocol, the Security Guard is perceptive at identifying situational risk within assigned areas and prompt in communicating events to Site Supervisor/ Manager on duty. The Security Guard works in conjunction with Supervisor staff and Operations teams to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • The Concierge Security is responsible for meeting and greeting all residents, visitors, vendors, and outside agencies in a friendly, helpful manner, triage of all telephone calls and deliveries, and ensuring patients and all imminent issues are escalated to appropriate personnel.
  • You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location
  • Reports all breaches per applicable methods
  • Utilizes company scheduling platform for clock-ins/clock-outs of scheduled shift
  • Evaluates and responds to alerts in surrounding area with professionalism and according to company protocol
  • Alerts Supervisor on Duty when situation requires escalation per company protocol
  • Assists fellow security guards with de-escalation when applicable per company protocol
  • Follows procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
  • Sitting and Standing for long periods of time

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 1 Year + Experience as a Security Officer
  • Valid CT Security Guard Card
  • Concierge Guard Experience
  • Exceptional work ethic
